Arctic Fish - Summary

The Arctic Fish is a playful and vibrant party drink known for its colorful presentation and sweet, fruity flavor profile. This punch-style concoction combines equal parts of vodka, grape soda, lemon-lime soda, and orange juice, creating a refreshing mix that balances the crispness of the sodas with the citrusy tang of the juice. Served over lots of ice cubes, the drink is chilled to perfection, making it an ideal choice for social gatherings and festive occasions. The addition of candy fish, typically Swedish Fish, adds a whimsical touch, offering a chewy surprise that complements the drink’s fruity notes.

The origins of the Arctic Fish drink are somewhat obscure, as it likely emerged from the creative minds of party-goers and amateur mixologists looking to craft fun and visually appealing beverages. The drink’s name, "Arctic Fish," evokes a sense of playful novelty, drawing a connection to the icy chill provided by the ice cubes and the aquatic theme suggested by the candy fish. While it may not have a storied history, the Arctic Fish has become a popular choice for those seeking a sweet, easy-to-make punch that brings a splash of color and fun to any celebration.

This drink style is classified as a Punch or Party Drink and is Alcoholic, so drink responsibly! The recommended glass type for this drink is a Beer Mug or Pilsner Glass. We say, feel free to serve it in whatever you have available; it will still taste the same :)

You may also use different variations of the same ingredient. For example, you could change up fruit types or sugar substitutes. Other substitutions would include different brands of liquor. For example, if your drink calls for a specific type of whiskey, you could try using bourbon instead of Irish.
