Devils Candy - Summary

The Devil's Candy is a vibrant and tantalizing shot that packs a flavorful punch, combining the fiery warmth of cinnamon schnapps with the sweet, tangy burst of watermelon pucker schnapps. The result is a daring and delightful blend that dances on the palate, offering a playful balance between the spicy heat and fruity sweetness. This drink is perfect for those looking to add a bit of adventure to their cocktail repertoire, making it a popular choice for parties and gatherings where fun and bold flavors are celebrated.

The origins of the Devil’s Candy shot are somewhat elusive, as is often the case with many modern cocktails and shots that emerge from creative mixology trends. It likely gained popularity in the late 20th to early 21st century, a period marked by experimentation with flavored spirits. The combination of cinnamon and watermelon offers a unique twist on traditional schnapps pairings, appealing to those who enjoy innovative and unexpected flavor profiles. Like many contemporary shots, it is designed to be both visually appealing and a conversation starter, perfect for those who enjoy a bit of devilish fun in their drinking experiences.

This drink style is classified as a Shot and is Alcoholic, so drink responsibly! The recommended glass type for this drink is a Shot Glass. We say, feel free to serve it in whatever you have available; it will still taste the same :)

You may also use different variations of the same ingredient. For example, you could change up fruit types or sugar substitutes. Other substitutions would include different brands of liquor. For example, if your drink calls for a specific type of whiskey, you could try using bourbon instead of Irish.

Crafting cocktails should be fun, so get creative and make it your own. Who knows, you might find your next favorite!
