About Appletons Spiced Ice Tea

The Appletons Spiced Ice Tea is a refreshing and aromatic cocktail that combines the robust flavors of Jamaican rum with the cooling sensation of iced tea. It features 2 ounces of Jamaican rum, which is known for its rich, full-bodied taste, perfect for pairing with the subtle sweetness and crispness of a can of iced tea. The drink is elevated by a hint of spice, with a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg, adding warmth and complexity to the blend. Served over four ice cubes, this cocktail is ideal for those looking to enjoy a spiced, yet refreshing beverage.

The origins of the Appletons Spiced Ice Tea are not well-documented, but it likely draws inspiration from traditional Jamaican flavors and the global popularity of spiced rum. Jamaican rum has a long history dating back to the 17th century, known for its unique production methods and distinctive taste. This cocktail takes the essence of Jamaican rum and marries it with the widely enjoyed iced tea, creating a drink that is both familiar and exotic. The addition of cinnamon and nutmeg nods to the island's rich spice heritage, making it a delightful choice for any occasion.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Beer Mug or Pilsner Glass, though any glass works!
