Alcoholic Shot Shot Glass 2 ingredients

Recipe

  • 1 oz Yukon Jack Whisky (Canadian)
  • 1/2 oz Rum

Instructions

This was inspired by remembering the cold, blustery weather north of the Arctic Circle, rafting a wild river improbably named the Hulahula! Yukon Jack has long been a favorite to warm the insides all the way to the toes, and the Hulahula says "warmth and sunshine" and, so, the addition of 151 seems to match that. Invented on a cold night in the plains with ice, sleet, and dropping temperatures outside. In a two ounce shot glass pour one ounce of Yukon Jack Canadian Whiskey and then top with half ounce of 151 Rum.

About Arctic Bomba

The Arctic Bomba is a bold and invigorating shot that combines the warmth of Yukon Jack Whisky with the tropical flair of rum. Yukon Jack, a Canadian whisky liqueur known for its sweet and spicy notes, forms the robust base of this concoction. Its honeyed and slightly citrusy profile is balanced by the addition of rum, which adds a layer of rich molasses flavor and a hint of exoticism. Together, these spirits create a harmonious blend that is both smooth and fiery, making the Arctic Bomba a perfect choice for those who enjoy a spirited shot with a complex character.

The origins of the Arctic Bomba are not well-documented, but it likely emerged from the creative mixing of popular spirits in North America, where both Canadian whisky and rum are widely appreciated. The name itself evokes imagery of the cold northern territories, nodding to the Canadian roots of Yukon Jack, while "Bomba" suggests a powerful and explosive experience. This drink is typically enjoyed in a lively setting, offering a quick, intense burst of flavor that warms the senses and captivates the palate.

This shot is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Shot Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
