About Arlingtonian

The Arlingtonian is a refreshing and sophisticated cocktail that balances the robust character of bourbon whiskey with the crispness of white wine and the effervescence of ginger ale. The combination of these flavors creates a unique blend that is both invigorating and smooth, making it an ideal choice for those who appreciate complexity in their drinks. The addition of a lime wedge adds a hint of citrus, brightening the overall profile and enhancing the drink's refreshing quality.

The origins of the Arlingtonian are not well-documented, but it likely emerged as a modern twist on classic bourbon cocktails, incorporating elements from wine spritzers and highballs to create something novel. This cocktail reflects a trend of innovation in mixology, where traditional spirits like bourbon are combined with unexpected ingredients to create new flavor experiences. Its name suggests a nod to elegance and sophistication, possibly inspired by the upscale neighborhoods or the storied history of Arlington, Virginia. The Arlingtonian is perfect for those seeking a refined yet approachable drink, suitable for both casual gatherings and more formal occasions.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Highball Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
