About Benedictine Cocktail

The Benedictine Cocktail is a sophisticated and aromatic drink that highlights the unique flavors of Benedictine Herbal Liqueur. With origins tracing back to the 19th century, this cocktail offers a harmonious blend of herbal and citrus notes. The Benedictine liqueur, a key ingredient, is a French herbal liqueur developed by Alexandre Le Grand in the 19th century and is known for its complex blend of 27 different botanicals, which lends a rich and luxurious depth to the cocktail. The addition of a dash of bitters enhances the intricate flavors, while a drop of lemon juice adds a refreshing hint of acidity. A touch of superfine sugar rounds out the drink with a subtle sweetness, balancing the robust herbal profile of the liqueur.

The Benedictine Cocktail is a testament to the artistry of classic mixology, capturing the essence of its ingredients in a simple yet elegant combination. It is a drink that appeals to those who appreciate the nuanced flavors of herbal liqueurs and the refined elegance of traditional cocktails. Perfect for sipping on a quiet evening or serving as an aperitif, this cocktail invites the drinker to savor the rich history and meticulous craftsmanship that goes into each bottle of Benedictine. Its enduring appeal lies in its ability to deliver a complex flavor experience with minimal ingredients, making it a timeless choice for cocktail enthusiasts.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Rocks or Old-Fashioned Glass, though any glass works!
