Alcoholic Shot Shot Glass 3 ingredients

Recipe

  • 1/2 oz Bourbon Whiskey
  • 1/2 oz Coffee Liqueur
  • 1 splash bar Lime Mix

Instructions

This drink, Black Allocation, became popular in Toronto, created by Dr. Meshie. She was inspired one day by one of her best (and very allocated) friends, Dr. P-Diddy, and mixed three of her favourite ingredients - those being Jacks, Coffee Liqueur, and Limes. The drink was an instant success and spread nation-wide as a result. Build shooter; take it to a random table; shoot in front of strangers. Can use Lime wedge for Lime flavour in place of bar Lime Mix.

About Black Allocation

The Black Allocation is a bold and intriguing shot that combines the rich flavors of bourbon whiskey and coffee liqueur, with a zesty splash of bar lime mix. The bourbon whiskey provides a warm, smoky foundation, while the coffee liqueur adds a layer of deep, roasted sweetness. The lime mix offers a refreshing citrus twist, balancing the drink with a hint of tartness. This unique blend of flavors creates a complex and satisfying experience, making it a favorite among those who appreciate sophisticated shots with a bit of an edge.

The history of the Black Allocation is not well-documented, which adds an air of mystery to its allure. Like many cocktail creations, it likely emerged from the experimental spirit of bartenders looking to craft something unique and memorable. The combination of whiskey and coffee liqueur is reminiscent of classic pairings found in various cultures, but the addition of lime mix gives it a modern twist. This drink is perfect for adventurous spirits looking to explore a fusion of flavors in a small, potent package.

This shot is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Shot Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
