Alcoholic Cocktail Highball Glass 5 ingredients

Recipe

  • 1 shotBlack Sambuca
  • enough Chinotto
  • Orange
  • Cherry
  • ice

Instructions

I came up with this as i acquired some Black sambuce for my birthday. It was fine straight but I was'nt sure what to Mix with it. I have always liked chinotto and then figured there is an italian link between the two. Mixed them together one night and chucked on the garnish and the rest is history. Both the mixers combine but still retain there flavour.Place a decent amount of ice in the glass, pour the Black Sambuca over the ice. Pour the Chinotto to fill the glass but leave a little bit of room at the top, as this drink looks and tastes great with a Orange and Cherry garnish.

About Black Ferrari

The Black Ferrari is a bold and intriguing cocktail that balances the rich, herbal notes of Black Sambuca with the bittersweet complexity of Chinotto, an Italian soda made from myrtle-leaved orange trees. The drink is garnished with a slice of orange and a cherry, adding a hint of citrusy sweetness and a pop of color to the otherwise dark and mysterious beverage. Served over ice, the Black Ferrari is both refreshing and full-bodied, making it an enticing choice for those who appreciate a drink with both depth and flair.

While the exact origins of the Black Ferrari are not well-documented, it likely emerged as a modern twist on traditional Italian flavors, combining classic liqueurs with the distinct taste of Chinotto. This cocktail appeals to those who enjoy the aniseed flavor of Sambuca paired with the unique bitterness of Chinotto, reflecting the Italian penchant for balancing sweet and bitter elements in their drinks. The name "Black Ferrari" suggests a sleek, sophisticated experience, akin to the luxury and performance associated with the iconic Italian sports car brand. This cocktail is perfect for adventurous drinkers looking to explore the dynamic world of Italian-inspired libations.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Highball Glass, though any glass works!
