Instructions

Inventor: Nick Hamilton Origin: Ball State University, Muncie, IN. This great drink does not have much liquor in it, but is one of my favorites. Great summer drink, and also awesome for something just a little sweet.Place cubes in glass and add ingredients over top. Stir. Cubes will start to melt right away making a soothing Blue color.

About Blue Bacardi Breeze

The Blue Bacardi Breeze is a vibrant, tropical cocktail that combines the exotic flavors of a Blue Hawaiian with the classic kick of rum. This visually striking drink, with its bright blue hue, is made by blending three frozen ice cubes of Boone's Farm Blue Hawaiian with 1.5 ounces of rum, and finishing it off with a splash of lemon-lime soda. The result is a refreshing and slightly fizzy beverage that balances fruity sweetness with the boldness of rum, making it perfect for a summer gathering or a beach-themed party.

The cocktail is a modern twist on the traditional Blue Hawaiian, which was first created in the 1950s by bartender Harry Yee in Hawaii. The Blue Hawaiian was designed to showcase the newly available blue curaçao liqueur, which gives the drink its distinctive color. The Blue Bacardi Breeze maintains this signature look while incorporating Boone's Farm wine, known for its easy-drinking, fruity flavors, and a hint of effervescence from the soda. This blend of ingredients makes the Blue Bacardi Breeze a playful and accessible cocktail that is sure to delight party-goers and cocktail enthusiasts alike.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Collins Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
