About Blue Bastard

The Blue Bastard is a vibrant and daring cocktail that blends an eclectic mix of spirits with refreshing citrus notes. At its core, this drink combines the robust flavors of Canadian whisky, dark rum, and Southern Comfort Peach, which bring a rich depth and subtle sweetness to the mixture. The addition of Blue Curacao not only infuses the drink with its signature electric blue hue but also adds a hint of orange flavor that complements the overall profile. To balance these bold spirits, lemonade and lemon-lime soda are included, imparting a refreshing, tangy twist that makes the Blue Bastard both invigorating and irresistibly smooth.

The history of the Blue Bastard is somewhat elusive, as is often the case with many cocktail creations. It is believed to have emerged in the late 20th century as bartenders became more experimental with their ingredients, seeking to create eye-catching and flavorful concoctions. The name "Blue Bastard" likely reflects its audacious color and potent mix, aiming to intrigue and challenge those who dare to try it. This cocktail embodies a playful yet sophisticated spirit, perfect for those who enjoy a drink with both a visual and flavorful punch.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Collins Glass, though any glass works!
