Alcoholic Shot Shot Glass 3 ingredients

Recipe

  • 4 ozpre-chilled Energy Drink (Red Bull)
  • 1 oz Southern Comfort Peach
  • 1 splash Sloe Gin

Instructions

Bartender Alisia Ouellett made this one night after trying the "Blood Clot". It is extremely popular at Sams Sports Bar in Springfield Ma, and is slowly making its way to other hot spots.Pour Energy Drink (Red Bull) (roughly half of a small can), and a splash of Gin into a large jigger filled with ice. Strain into a highball glass. Using the same jigger, filled with new or the same ice, pour the southern comfort into a shot glass. Drop the shot into the Red Bull and guzzle.

About Bull Kick

The Bull Kick is a vibrant and invigorating shot that combines the energy-boosting qualities of a pre-chilled energy drink, such as Red Bull, with the sweet and fruity flavors of Southern Comfort Peach and a splash of Sloe Gin. This concoction is designed to provide a quick burst of energy with a delightful, sweet aftertaste, making it popular among those looking to enjoy a lively drink with a bit of a kick. The Southern Comfort Peach adds a smooth, fruity undertone, while the Sloe Gin introduces a slightly tart and berry-like flavor, creating a well-balanced shot that is both refreshing and exhilarating.

The origins of the Bull Kick are not well-documented, but it likely emerged in the early 2000s, a period when energy drink cocktails began gaining popularity in bars and clubs. This era saw a trend of mixing caffeinated beverages with various spirits to create exciting new drinks that combined the buzz of alcohol with the stimulating effects of energy drinks. The Bull Kick is a testament to this trend, offering a unique blend of flavors and an energizing experience that continues to appeal to party-goers and cocktail enthusiasts alike.

This shot is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Shot Glass, though any glass works!
