Alcoholic Cocktail Hurricane Glass 7 ingredients

Recipe

  • Mostly Irish Cream Liqueur
  • Healthy splash Amaretto
  • Healthy splash Coffee Liqueur
  • Small splash Vodka
  • Small splash Grand Marnier
  • Sprinkling Nutmeg
  • Lots Ice

Instructions

Fill blender 3/4 with ice (small cubes best). Add a small splash of Vodka, a small splash of Grand Marnier. Add a healthy serving of Coffee Liqueur and a little less healthy splash of amarreto. Fill the blender with Baileys until liquid is 1/2 inch from top of icecubes. Mix until smooth. Pour in hurricane glass and sprinkle some nutmeg on top! (Sorry about the vagueness. I learned this recipe while bartending in the Virgin Islands - St. Thomas before it was demolished by Marylin. The drink is kick ass! The consistency should be like a Milk shake, except without the Milk. Also, this drink may be a bit expensive here (liquor is EXTREMELY cheap in the Caribbean)).

About Bushwacker #2

The Bushwacker #2 is a decadent and creamy cocktail that offers a delightful blend of rich and nutty flavors. Its base is predominantly Irish Cream Liqueur, which provides a smooth and velvety texture. Complementing this are healthy splashes of Amaretto and Coffee Liqueur, adding a warm, almond sweetness and a robust coffee undertone. A small splash of Vodka introduces a subtle kick, while a hint of Grand Marnier brings a touch of citrus complexity. The cocktail is typically served over lots of ice, ensuring it's refreshingly chilled, and is finished with a sprinkling of nutmeg, which adds a fragrant and slightly spicy aroma.

The origin of the Bushwacker cocktail is often traced back to the 1970s, with its roots in the Caribbean. Originally created in St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, the drink was named after a visiting customer's adventurous dog, Bushwack. Over time, the Bushwacker has evolved, with variations like the Bushwacker #2 emerging to offer new twists on the classic recipe. This version maintains the spirit of indulgence and relaxation, embodying the tropical and laid-back vibes of its Caribbean heritage.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Hurricane Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
