About Calpol

The Calpol cocktail is a playful and vibrant concoction that combines the crispness of vodka with the refreshing fizz of Smirnoff Ice and the invigorating energy of a Red Bull. This drink is designed to be both energizing and delicious, making it a popular choice for party-goers and those looking to elevate their social gatherings. The vodka provides a clean, smooth base, while the Smirnoff Ice contributes a touch of sweetness and citrusy sparkle. The addition of an energy drink like Red Bull not only enhances the flavor profile with its unique taste but also adds an extra kick, making the Calpol cocktail a lively and spirited choice.

The origins of the Calpol cocktail are somewhat informal, as it belongs to a category of drinks often crafted spontaneously at social events or parties. Its name, reminiscent of a popular children's medicine, is likely a tongue-in-cheek reference to its bright, sweet taste and energizing properties. While it may not have a storied history or a specific place of origin, the Calpol cocktail captures the essence of modern mixology, where creativity and fun take center stage. Its appeal lies in its simplicity and the way it playfully combines familiar ingredients to create something new and exciting.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Beer Mug or Pilsner Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
