Instructions

Confidence builder was invented by Kerry Jones for a man who asked for a drink to boost his confidence at a club on night. It seemed to pick up as a popular drink as time went on.Mix Vodka, dry, and Vermouth (Sweet) in a cocktail shaker, then shake with ice cubes thoroughly. Add a shot of Orange Juice to a Whisky glass and fill halfway with Soda (Lemon Lime). Pour the martini-like Mix into the glass, including some ice, then stir the drink. Garnish with an Orange slice, Cherry, or other citrus Fruit.

About Confidence Builder

The Confidence Builder is a vibrant and refreshing cocktail that combines the crispness of vodka with the complexity of two types of vermouth—dry and sweet. The addition of orange juice introduces a bright, citrusy note that balances the vermouth's herbal undertones, while the effervescence of lemon-lime soda adds a lively finish. This cocktail is a harmonious blend of flavors that offers both depth and refreshment, making it an ideal choice for those who appreciate a nuanced yet approachable drink.

The origins of the Confidence Builder are not widely documented, suggesting that it may be a modern creation designed for those looking to explore a twist on classic cocktails. Its use of sweet and dry vermouth is reminiscent of popular drinks like the Manhattan and Martini, yet the inclusion of orange juice and soda gives it a contemporary flair. This cocktail is perfect for social gatherings or as a pre-dinner aperitif, designed to elevate your spirits and, as the name suggests, build confidence in any social setting.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Rocks or Old-Fashioned Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
