Alcoholic Shot Shot Glass 3 ingredients

Recipe

  • 1/2 oz Coconut Liqueur
  • 1/2 oz Rum (White)
  • Chocolate Syrup

Instructions

Yet another boring night at a friends house, Mickey P had some unusual ingredients this time. As usual after some experimentation, he had put together a decent drink, and prompted Pablito Enorme to try it out and name it. The Syrup tends to coat the throat and anything else it touches, leaving the alcohol to burn, but smells like a chocolatey girly-drink. When properly put down, however, this seemingly weak shot reveals its Dark Side.Combine the Coconut Liqueur and Rum (White) in a shot glass, stirring to Mix. Add just enough Syrup to dissolve in it. The Syrup should make the drink creamy but liquid enough to go down smoothly.

About Dark Side

The Dark Side shot is a playful and indulgent concoction that tantalizes the taste buds with a blend of tropical and sweet flavors. This shot combines the smooth, creamy essence of coconut liqueur with the crisp, clean notes of white rum, creating a delightful contrast that is both refreshing and rich. The addition of chocolate syrup adds a decadent layer, enveloping the senses with its velvety sweetness and subtle cocoa undertones. The result is a luxurious shot that transports you to a tropical paradise with a dark, seductive twist.

The origins of the Dark Side shot are not well-documented, but it likely emerged from the creative cocktail culture that thrives on experimentation and innovation. This drink embodies the spirit of modern mixology, where classic spirits are paired with unexpected ingredients to create new and exciting flavor profiles. The combination of coconut, rum, and chocolate hints at influences from tropical and dessert-inspired cocktails, making the Dark Side shot a perfect choice for those who appreciate both the exotic and the indulgent in their drinking experience.

This shot is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Shot Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
