About Day Dreaming

The Day Dreaming cocktail is a delightful and creamy concoction that combines the rich, vanilla-citrus notes of Licor 43 with the smoothness of milk, the bright tang of orange juice, and the velvety texture of a fresh egg. This drink is a whimsical blend of flavors and textures, creating an experience that is both indulgent and refreshing. The Licor 43, a Spanish liqueur known for its 43 different flavor components, serves as the foundation, providing a sweet and aromatic base. The milk adds creaminess, while the orange juice contributes a subtle zest, and the egg lends a silky, frothy finish. Together, these ingredients make Day Dreaming a perfect treat for those moments when you want to escape into a world of sweet reverie.

The history of the Day Dreaming cocktail is not well-documented, but it likely draws inspiration from traditional egg-based cocktails and other creamy, dessert-like drinks. Cocktails that incorporate eggs have been enjoyed for centuries, valued for their rich texture and visual appeal. The combination of fruit juice and creamy elements is a hallmark of many classic cocktails, and Day Dreaming fits comfortably within this tradition, offering a modern twist with its unique blend of ingredients. While it may not have a storied past like some of the more famous cocktails, Day Dreaming captures the essence of creative mixology, where innovation and tradition meet to create something truly special.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Rocks or Old-Fashioned Glass, though any glass works!
