About Drift

The Drift cocktail is an intriguing blend, combining the bold, anise-flavored notes of Absinthe with the smooth, creamy sweetness of Irish Cream Liqueur and the light, crisp touch of White Rum. This drink is both visually and flavorfully striking, offering a unique experience for those willing to embark on a sensory adventure. The combination of these three distinct spirits creates a layered flavor profile, where the herbal and slightly bitter notes of Absinthe are softened by the creamy texture of the Irish Cream, while the White Rum adds a subtle yet firm backbone to the mix. The Drift is perfect for cocktail enthusiasts looking to explore unconventional flavor combinations.

The history of the Drift cocktail is not as well-documented as some of its more famous counterparts. However, it likely emerged during the recent resurgence of interest in craft cocktails, where bartenders began experimenting with diverse ingredients to create novel experiences. Absinthe, once banned in many parts of the world, has seen a revival, and its inclusion in the Drift is a nod to its storied past and its place in the modern cocktail scene. The Drift is a testament to the creativity and innovation that define contemporary mixology, inviting drinkers to enjoy a blend of flavors that is both classic and avant-garde.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Test Tube, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
