Alcoholic Cocktail Collins Glass 3 ingredients

Recipe

  • 4 oz Rum
  • 4 oz Energy Drink (Red Bull)
  • 8 oz Coca Cola

Instructions

This cocktail was concieved by adding the idea of a classic Rum and coke with the growing popularity of energy drinks/alcohol. The product was the Fahrenheit 151, whose title was derived from the famous novel, Fahrenheit 451. There really isn't a relation between the two, but the name is catchy. Enjoy!First, add the Bacardi 151 into the Collins glass. Then, pour the half can of Energy Drink (Red Bull), and proceed to add about 4 or 5 pieces of ice. Fill the rest of the glass with Coca Cola and serve.

About Fahrenheit 151

The Fahrenheit 151 cocktail is a potent and invigorating drink known for its bold combination of high-proof rum, energy drink, and cola. This drink is aptly named to reflect its fiery nature, particularly due to the inclusion of rum, which can be quite strong depending on the type used. The cocktail is a blend of 4 oz of rum, 4 oz of an energy drink like Red Bull, and 8 oz of Coca-Cola, creating a balance between the stimulating effects of caffeine and the mellowing sweetness of cola. The result is a high-energy beverage that offers a unique taste experience, making it a popular choice for those looking to add a bit of excitement to their night out.

The history of the Fahrenheit 151 is not well-documented, but it likely emerged in the late 20th or early 21st century, during a time when energy drink cocktails gained popularity, particularly in party and club scenes. These types of drinks cater to those who enjoy the combination of alcohol's relaxing effects with the energizing qualities of caffeine. While it shares similarities with other energy drink cocktails, the Fahrenheit 151 stands out due to its specific mix and the daring name that hints at its fiery kick. This cocktail has earned a place in the repertoire of adventurous drinkers who appreciate its lively and bold character.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Collins Glass, though any glass works!
