Alcoholic Cocktail Any Glass 3 ingredients

Recipe

  • 2 Irish Cream Liqueur
  • 2 Vodka
  • 2 Milk

Instructions

We invented this drink at Glastonbury Festival in 2007 when the rain was "of Biblical proportions" and we were starting to become miserable. It was basically the remnants of our booze store. We first called it a Festival Russian but since then we have been having it for breakfast at festivals :) We have also had it for breakfast at Christmas & birthdays so its versatile! It is also easy on the stomach & particularly fabulous when you have no reason to drive for 3-5 days. The reason we serve it in cups is that we are essentially sitting in a field rather than our bar.Simply Mix & serve 6.

About Festival Breakfast

The Festival Breakfast is a delightful cocktail that combines the creamy richness of Irish Cream Liqueur with the smooth, clean taste of vodka, rounded out with a splash of milk. This drink offers a sweet and indulgent flavor profile, making it perfect for those who enjoy dessert-like beverages. The Irish Cream Liqueur provides a velvety, chocolatey base with hints of vanilla and caramel, while the vodka adds a subtle kick. The milk softens the overall texture, creating a creamy and satisfying drink that can easily serve as a luxurious treat for any festive occasion.

The origins of the Festival Breakfast cocktail are not well-documented, but it likely arose from a desire to create a drink that blends the comforting flavors of classic Irish beverages with the versatility of vodka. This cocktail is reminiscent of the popular White Russian, but with an Irish twist, making it a favorite for those who appreciate both tradition and innovation in their drinks. Whether served at brunch, a holiday gathering, or simply as an after-dinner indulgence, the Festival Breakfast is sure to please with its harmonious flavors and creamy texture.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Any Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
