About High Class

The High Class shot is a sophisticated blend that amalgamates the rich, almond-infused sweetness of Amaretto Di Saronno with the complex, herbal notes of sweet vermouth. This combination creates a harmonious balance between the nutty liqueur and the aromatic intensity of the vermouth. The addition of fresh lemon juice adds a zesty brightness that cuts through the sweetness, while a touch of sugar enhances the overall flavor profile, ensuring that each sip is smooth yet intriguingly layered. Served chilled over ice cubes, the High Class shot is both refreshing and indulgent, making it a perfect choice for those who appreciate a refined palate.

While the High Class shot does not have a long-standing history like some classic cocktails, it draws upon the rich traditions of Italian liqueurs and aperitifs. Amaretto, with its origins in the Saronno region of Italy, has been enjoyed since the Renaissance, often associated with love and romance due to its sweet almond flavor. Vermouth, another Italian favorite, has been a staple in aperitivo culture for centuries. The High Class shot can be seen as a contemporary interpretation that combines these time-honored ingredients into a modern expression of taste and elegance, perfect for those seeking a touch of luxury in their drink experience.

This shot is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Any Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
