About King Kenneth

The King Kenneth cocktail is a refreshing and vibrant drink that perfectly balances bitterness and sweetness, making it a versatile choice for various occasions. This cocktail combines the bold, herbal notes of Campari with the sweet, fruity essence of peach schnapps. The citrusy touch comes from fresh orange juice and a hint of lemon juice, adding brightness and tanginess to the mix. Topped with tonic water, the drink acquires a subtle effervescence, enhancing its refreshing qualities and making it a delightful choice for a warm afternoon or a sophisticated evening gathering.

The origins of the King Kenneth cocktail are somewhat elusive, as with many modern cocktails, it likely evolved through experimental mixing by creative bartenders who sought to blend classic ingredients with new flavors. The use of Campari nods to traditional Italian aperitifs, while the peach schnapps and citrus elements reflect a more contemporary twist. This harmonious blend of ingredients showcases the evolution of cocktail culture, where the fusion of classic and modern flavors creates unique and memorable drinking experiences.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Collins Glass, though any glass works!
