About Lees Drink

Lees Drink is a decadent and indulgent beverage that combines the rich and robust flavors of coffee with the nutty, sweet notes of liqueurs. This drink features equal parts brewed coffee, coffee liqueur, Frangelico, and Amaretto, creating a harmonious blend of flavors. The coffee provides a strong, aromatic base, while the coffee liqueur adds depth and sweetness. Frangelico, a hazelnut liqueur, imparts a nutty richness, and Amaretto contributes its signature almond notes, enhancing the drink's complexity. Topped with a dollop of whipped cream and optionally garnished with a cherry, Lees Drink is a luxurious treat, perfect for savoring as a dessert or a special occasion indulgence.

The origins of Lees Drink are not widely documented, but it reflects a trend of combining coffee with spirits to create sophisticated and flavorful cocktails. The use of liqueurs such as Frangelico and Amaretto, both of which have Italian roots, suggests an influence from European traditions of crafting layered, aromatic drinks. Over time, coffee cocktails have gained popularity for their ability to offer both a caffeine kick and a comforting warmth, making them a favorite choice for cozy evenings or after-dinner enjoyment. Lees Drink, with its blend of flavors and creamy finish, is a testament to the art of balancing bold and sweet elements in a delightful concoction.

This coffee, tea, or cocoa is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Any Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
