About Malibu Stacey

The Malibu Stacey is a vibrant and refreshing cocktail that embodies the playful essence of tropical and fruity flavors. This delightful drink starts with a shot of coconut rum, which introduces a smooth and creamy tropical base reminiscent of sunny beaches and swaying palm trees. The addition of raspberry cordial infuses the cocktail with a sweet and tangy berry twist, creating an exciting contrast to the coconut's mellow notes. Served over crushed ice, the Malibu Stacey is topped off with a splash of lemonade, adding a hint of citrusy effervescence that ties the flavors together into a harmonious and invigorating blend.

The Malibu Stacey does not have a long or storied history like some classic cocktails, but it draws inspiration from the fun and carefree ethos of the 1990s, when whimsical and creatively named drinks were all the rage. The name "Malibu Stacey" itself could be a playful nod to pop culture, possibly referencing the iconic Malibu Barbie or a character from a popular TV show of the time. Regardless of its origins, the Malibu Stacey continues to be a favorite for those looking to enjoy a light-hearted, fruity cocktail with a tropical flair.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Rocks or Old-Fashioned Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
