About Malibu Zombie

The Malibu Zombie is a vibrant, tropical cocktail that brings together an array of fruity rums to create a complex yet harmonious flavor profile. With a blend of coconut, pineapple, mango, passion fruit, banana, gold, and dark rums, this drink is a true celebration of Caribbean flavors. The combination of these various rums results in a sweet and exotic taste that's both refreshing and potent. The drink's name, "Zombie," is a nod to its powerful punch, reminiscent of the classic Zombie cocktail known for its high alcohol content and intoxicating blend of ingredients.

The origins of the Zombie cocktail date back to the 1930s, when it was first created by Donn Beach, the founding father of tiki culture. The original Zombie was crafted to be a potent concoction that would "revive the dead," hence its name. The Malibu Zombie is a modern twist on this classic, using the tropical essence of Malibu's flavored rums to update the traditional recipe. This cocktail is perfect for those who love bold flavors and a taste of the tropics, making it a popular choice at beach-themed parties and summer gatherings.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Collins Glass, though any glass works!
