Alcoholic Cocktail Mason Jar 4 ingredients

Recipe

  • 6-8 oz Buffalo Trace Burbon Whiskey
  • 12 oz Soda (Lemon Lime)
  • 6 oz Orange Juice
  • 3 Cherries

Instructions

Invented by MDW. Where it is popular - In the backwoods and in peoples basements. It was inspired by the classic Mt. Dew and Whiskey combo. In fact Mt. Dew was first made to Mix with Whiskey. Sounds like a strange drink but give it a chance. (also Buffalo Trace is hard to find in some areas so I think the best sub for it is Bourbon Whiskey you can get that anywhere, but if you can get Buffalo Trace do so.) 1st add the Buffalo Trace and Mt. Dew stir (don't shake) with ice in a big mason jar or big glass then add the Orange Juice on top and stir (don't shake) with a straw. Top it off with 3 Cherries.

About MDWs Buffalo Call

The MDWs Buffalo Call is a refreshing and spirited cocktail that harmoniously blends the robust character of Buffalo Trace Bourbon Whiskey with the crispness of lemon-lime soda and the sweet tang of orange juice. This drink is topped off with the garnish of three cherries, adding a touch of elegance and a hint of fruity sweetness. The bourbon's oaky and vanilla notes are beautifully balanced by the citrusy elements, creating a vibrant and well-rounded flavor profile that is both invigorating and smooth.

The origin of the MDWs Buffalo Call is not widely documented, but it is likely a modern creation designed to highlight the qualities of Buffalo Trace, a renowned bourbon with a rich heritage dating back to 1773. As bourbon has gained popularity, mixologists and bourbon enthusiasts have sought to craft new cocktails that showcase its versatility. The MDWs Buffalo Call is a testament to this trend, offering a delightful blend that appeals to both bourbon aficionados and those new to whiskey cocktails. It represents a contemporary twist on classic bourbon drinks, perfect for social gatherings or leisurely sipping.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Mason Jar, though any glass works!
