About Mint Tea

The Mint Tea cocktail is a refreshing blend that combines the cool, minty flavor of white crème de menthe with the smooth, soothing attributes of iced tea. This drink is perfect for warm days when you want something both invigorating and calming. The crème de menthe provides a sweet and minty kick, while the iced tea adds a crisp, slightly tannic undertone. Served over ice cubes, this cocktail is both thirst-quenching and energizing, making it a delightful choice for sipping on a sunny afternoon or at a casual gathering.

The combination of mint and tea has roots in various cultures, often seen in traditional Moroccan mint tea. However, the Mint Tea cocktail brings a modern twist by integrating the sweet, liqueur version of mint. While not as well-known as some classic cocktails, this drink has been gaining popularity for its simplicity and the refreshing contrast of flavors it offers. It's a testament to the versatility of tea as a cocktail base and the timeless appeal of mint as a flavor enhancer.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Rocks or Old-Fashioned Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
