  • 2 sprigs Mint
  • Rum (Coconut)
  • Soda (Lemon Lime)

Instructions

This is a refreshing variation on a Mango Mojito that was improvised when I didn't have the typical ingredients for a standard Mojito. "Bucket Mixology": Using the Soda (Lemon Lime) in place of Sugar and Soda Water eliminates the need for careful measurements because it provides a perfect balance of sweetness in conjunction with the Mango flavored Rum. Behind the "Monito": My nickname is "Moni" so, after a couple of rounds, my friends and family proclaimed it was a new summer favorite and renamed the drink in my honor.Chop a 1/2 Lime into pieces and toss them into a pint sized glass along with a couple of sprigs of fresh Mint. Use a wooden spoon, pestle, or dowel to thoroughly muddle the two indredients. Fill the glass with ice and add equal parts of Mango flavored Rum and your favorite Soda (Lemon Lime) to fill the glass.
