Instructions

This cocktail was invented by bartender Evan Martin who currently works at the Lakeside Bistro in Allyn, Washington. Evan received the Pineapple Mint leaves as a gift from a friend, as he is known for mastering mojitos. Evan Martin has currently created 12 successful variations of the classic mojito with the Pieapple Mint Mojito being his best one yet and which many and himself have claimed this to be the best cocktail they have ever tasted. The recipe is very simple, but the delicate technique and flavors of the Pineapple Mint leaves make this drink very special.Lightly muddle Lime and Pineapple Mint leaves with simple Syrup in Sugar-rimmed collins glass and then fill with ice. In cocktail shaker, briefly shake Rum and Pineapple Juice with ice and strain into glass and top with a splash of club Soda. Garnish with a Pineapple wedge.

About Pineapple Mint Mojito

The Pineapple Mint Mojito is a refreshing twist on the classic mojito, infusing tropical flavors with the traditional elements of this beloved cocktail. This vibrant drink features a base of pineapple rum, which adds a sweet and fruity depth, complemented by a splash of pineapple juice to enhance its tropical profile. Fresh lime brings the essential citrusy tang, balancing the sweetness, while pineapple mint offers a unique aromatic herbaceous note, elevating the sensory experience. A touch of simple syrup rounds out the flavors, adding a subtle sweetness that ties the elements together.

The mojito itself has origins in Cuba, with its roots tracing back to the 16th century when it was initially a medicinal rum-based drink. The classic mojito, which traditionally includes white rum, sugar, lime juice, soda water, and mint, became popular in the mid-20th century. With the Pineapple Mint Mojito, the addition of pineapple rum and pineapple juice gives a tropical flair to the traditional recipe, making it a perfect choice for those looking to enjoy a refreshing cocktail with a fruity twist. This cocktail is perfect for summer gatherings, beachside lounging, or anytime you want to evoke a sense of island paradise.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Collins Glass, though any glass works!
