About Provencal

The Provencal cocktail is a refreshing and aromatic drink that captures the essence of the Provence region in southern France. This delightful concoction features a base of dry vermouth, which provides a crisp and herbal backdrop. The star ingredient, Farigoule Thyme Liqueur, infuses the cocktail with a distinctive, earthy thyme flavor, evoking the fragrant herbs that grow abundantly in the Provence countryside. Fresh lime juice adds a bright, zesty contrast, balancing the herbal notes with a refreshing citrus tang. The Provencal is an elegant and sophisticated drink, perfect for those who appreciate a unique blend of herbal and citrus flavors.

While the specific origins of the Provencal cocktail are not well-documented, it draws inspiration from the traditional flavors of Provence, known for its aromatic herbs and vibrant produce. The use of Farigoule Thyme Liqueur, a product of the region, ties the drink closely to its cultural roots. This cocktail exemplifies the art of using local ingredients to create a beverage that is both distinctive and evocative of its origin, making it a favorite among cocktail enthusiasts who appreciate a taste of France in their glass.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Rocks or Old-Fashioned Glass, though any glass works!
