About Seapool Royal

The Seapool Royal is a vibrant and tropical cocktail that captures the essence of a sun-drenched beach getaway. Its enchanting blue hue, derived from Blue Curacao, conjures images of clear, azure ocean waters. The cocktail features a delightful blend of dark rum and coconut rum, which create a rich, complex base with notes of caramel and tropical sweetness. These are perfectly complemented by the refreshing and fruity flavors of pineapple and orange juice, adding a burst of citrusy goodness that balances the drink's sweetness and offers a refreshing, tropical taste in every sip.

The origins of the Seapool Royal are somewhat obscure, as it seems to be a modern concoction likely inspired by the classic Piña Colada and Blue Hawaiian cocktails. These drinks became popular in the mid-20th century, coinciding with the rise of tiki culture and the public's fascination with exotic, island-inspired cocktails. The Seapool Royal continues this tradition, offering a contemporary twist that appeals to modern tastes with its visually striking appearance and harmonious blend of flavors. Its vibrant color and tropical profile make it a perfect choice for beach parties, summer gatherings, or simply when you want to escape to a tropical paradise, even if just for a moment.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Highball Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
