About Searoot

The Searoot cocktail is a delightful blend of smooth whiskey and sweet, fizzy root beer, accented with a hint of vanilla. This drink combines 4 ounces of Seagram's Whiskey with 12 ounces of root beer, creating a harmonious balance of flavors. The splash of vanilla extract adds a subtle depth and richness, enhancing the cocktail's complexity while maintaining its refreshing nature. The Searoot is perfect for those who enjoy a classic whiskey cocktail with a playful twist, offering a nostalgic nod to root beer floats while retaining an adult sophistication.

The origins of the Searoot cocktail are not widely documented, but it likely emerged from the creative experimentation with whiskey and soda combinations popularized in American cocktail culture. Root beer, with its unique blend of spices and herbs, has long been paired with various spirits for a novel taste experience. The addition of vanilla extract complements the botanical notes of the root beer and the smoothness of Seagram's Whiskey, resulting in a drink that is both comforting and invigorating. The Searoot is a testament to the timeless appeal of innovation in mixology, where familiar ingredients are reimagined into something refreshingly new.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Beer Mug or Pilsner Glass, though any glass works!
