About Zombie #4

The Zombie #4 is a potent and vibrant cocktail that embodies the tropical essence of Tiki culture. This drink is a bold concoction that combines the tartness of lemon juice, the sweetness of grenadine, and the citrusy freshness of orange juice, creating a well-balanced fruit base. The cherry liqueur adds a hint of fruity depth, while the trio of rums—light, dark, and a overproof rum—bring a robust and layered complexity to the mix. The result is a colorful and flavorful cocktail that is both refreshing and intoxicating, perfect for those who enjoy a full-bodied drink with a touch of exotic flair.

The Zombie cocktail has a storied history, first crafted in the late 1930s by Donn Beach, the founder of the Tiki bar phenomenon. Originally designed to help a hungover customer get through a business meeting, the Zombie quickly gained fame for its ability to "revive the dead," hence its name. Over the years, numerous variations of the Zombie have emerged, each adding its own twist to the classic recipe. The Zombie #4 is one such iteration, continuing the tradition of delivering a powerful punch wrapped in a delightful tropical disguise.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Collins Glass, though any glass works!
