About Baby Eskimo

The Baby Eskimo is a delightful and indulgent dessert drink that brings together the rich flavors of coffee liqueur and the creamy goodness of vanilla ice cream. This concoction is a perfect blend of 2 ounces of coffee liqueur, such as Kapali, combined with 8 ounces of milk and two scoops of vanilla ice cream. The result is a creamy, frothy treat that offers a harmonious balance of coffee and vanilla flavors, making it both refreshing and satisfying. It's a versatile drink, perfect for summer afternoons or as a decadent dessert beverage.

The origins of the Baby Eskimo are somewhat obscure, as it seems to be a modern creation inspired by classic ice cream floats and milkshakes. The drink leverages the popularity of coffee liqueurs, which have been enjoyed in various cocktails for their rich, sweet, and slightly bitter notes. This drink likely emerged in the late 20th century when coffee-flavored desserts and beverages gained widespread appeal. The playful name "Baby Eskimo" adds a touch of whimsy, evoking the image of a cool, refreshing treat that provides comfort and delight, much like the traditional associations with Eskimos and their icy environments.

This milk, float or shake is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Any Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
