Recipe

  • 3 oz Irish Cream Liqueur
  • 2 1/2 scoops Ice Cream (Chocolate)
  • 1 splash Milk

Instructions

The better the Ice Cream you use for this recipe, the better it will turn out. I recomend using either Bryers or HagenDaz. Also, try using the new Chocolate Mint or Caramel flavoured Baileys Irish Cream. Cheers!Using a blender, scoop in the Ice Cream. Then add the 3oz of Baileys, and the splash of Milk or Cream. Put lid on the blender, and blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into frosty pint glass or frosty mug, serve with a spoon and/or straw.

About Baileys Blizzard

The Baileys Blizzard is a delightful dessert cocktail that combines the rich, creamy flavors of Irish cream liqueur with the indulgent taste of chocolate ice cream. This drink is a perfect blend of sweetness and creaminess, making it an irresistible treat for those who enjoy decadent beverages. With 3 ounces of Irish cream liqueur as its base, this cocktail is both smooth and flavorful, enhanced by the addition of 2 1/2 scoops of chocolate ice cream. A splash of milk rounds out the drink, ensuring a perfect balance of thickness and drinkability. The Baileys Blizzard is not only a drink but also a dessert, offering a luxurious experience in every sip.

The origins of the Baileys Blizzard are not well-documented, as it appears to be a modern concoction that leverages the popularity of Baileys Irish Cream, which was first introduced in 1974. Baileys quickly became a favorite for its unique blend of Irish whiskey and cream, often used in cocktails and desserts alike. The Baileys Blizzard is likely a creation of the late 20th or early 21st century, emerging in response to a growing trend of dessert-inspired cocktails. As consumers sought innovative ways to enjoy their favorite spirits, the Baileys Blizzard stood out for its ability to satisfy both a sweet tooth and a craving for a well-crafted cocktail.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Beer Mug or Pilsner Glass, though any glass works!
