Alcoholic Shot Shot Glass 3 ingredients

Recipe

  • 1/3 oz Mezcal
  • 1/3 oz Absinthe
  • 1/3 oz Vodka

Instructions

Warning: This shot may leave you with a numb sensation on your mouth (much like a dentist anesthesy) and may cause temporary loss of taste (I couldn't taste highly salted peanuts after drinking this one) and begginers are not advised to drink it cause it'll leave you in a really bad state of body and mind. This shot was invented by a Portuguese clan whose members are known as "Helder (name)". This clan is known for the quality (i.e amount of alchool) of their drinks and the quantity they consume. This shot particularly was created by Helder Maior and Helder Goldstrike. Enjoy it.Just pour the drinks with Vodka on top (to reduce alcohol level in this shot) and drink it. This shot can be used to make a "Rocky Balboa" if drank after a rocky shot.

About Balboa

The Balboa shot is a bold and adventurous blend of three distinct spirits: mezcal, absinthe, and vodka, each contributing its own unique characteristics to the drink. Mezcal, a smoky and complex agave spirit from Mexico, imparts a rich and earthy flavor, setting a robust foundation. Absinthe, known for its anise or licorice-like notes, adds an aromatic and herbal layer that enhances the depth of the shot. Finally, vodka, a neutral spirit, balances the mix with its clean and smooth texture, allowing the other two ingredients to shine without overpowering them.

The origins of the Balboa shot are somewhat mysterious, much like the drink itself. It may have been inspired by a desire to create a potent yet harmonious combination of spirits that cater to adventurous palates. The name "Balboa" could be a nod to Rocky Balboa, the fictional boxer known for his strength and resilience, reflecting the shot’s powerful and invigorating nature. While not a classic cocktail with a lengthy history, the Balboa shot embodies the modern trend of experimenting with bold flavors and pushing the boundaries of traditional mixology.

This shot is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Shot Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
