About Boston Tea Party

The Boston Tea Party cocktail is a flavorful and potent concoction that brings together a diverse medley of spirits and mixers, resulting in a drink that's as bold as its historical namesake. With a base of gin, rum, and vodka, this cocktail packs a powerful punch. The addition of triple sec, amaretto almond liqueur, coffee liqueur, and orange liqueur adds layers of complexity, offering a blend of citrus, nutty, and rich coffee flavors. The sweet and sour mix balances these elements with a tangy sweetness, while a splash of Coca Cola provides a fizzy, refreshing finish.

The drink's name is a playful nod to the famous 1773 protest, symbolizing a rebellious mix that stands out among more traditional cocktails. While the exact origins of this cocktail are not well-documented, it likely emerged from the creative bar culture that thrives on inventing memorable and whimsically named drinks. The Boston Tea Party cocktail is perfect for those who enjoy a strong, multifaceted beverage that captures the adventurous spirit of its name. It's a celebration of variety and surprise, much like the historical event to which it pays homage.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Collins Glass, though any glass works!
