About Cats Eye

The Cat's Eye cocktail is a sophisticated and vibrant drink that combines the botanical complexity of Bombay Sapphire gin with the herbal intensity of Green Chartreuse and the dry elegance of vermouth. The gin serves as a robust base, providing floral and citrus notes that harmonize beautifully with the distinctly herbal and slightly sweet profile of Green Chartreuse. This liqueur, with its roots in 18th-century France, brings a unique character to the mix. The dry vermouth adds a touch of refinement, balancing the flavors with its crisp and slightly bitter undertones. An orange peel garnish finishes the cocktail, adding a citrusy aroma that complements the drink's overall profile.

The Cat's Eye is a modern twist on classic gin cocktails, channeling the spirit of traditional martinis and herbaceous concoctions. While the exact origins of the drink are unclear, it likely emerged from the innovative cocktail culture that appreciates the depth of flavor and complexity offered by high-quality spirits and liqueurs. Its name, reminiscent of the mystical and alluring nature of a cat's gaze, reflects the cocktail's intriguing blend of flavors and its ability to captivate those who appreciate a well-crafted drink. Whether enjoyed as an aperitif or a nightcap, the Cat's Eye is a testament to the artistry of mixology.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Rocks or Old-Fashioned Glass, though any glass works!
