About Clover Leaf

The Clover Leaf cocktail is a classic gin-based drink that combines the bright, botanical notes of gin with the sweet and tart flavors of raspberry liqueur and fresh lemon juice. The addition of egg white gives it a silky texture and a frothy top, which is a hallmark of many traditional cocktails. A fresh mint garnish adds a refreshing aroma and a hint of herbal complexity, rounding out the drink's vibrant and balanced profile.

The Clover Leaf has its origins in the early 20th century, a time when cocktails were gaining popularity as sophisticated social beverages. This drink is a variation of the Clover Club cocktail, which originated in a Philadelphia men's club of the same name. Its elegant presentation and harmonious blend of flavors made it a favorite among pre-Prohibition drinkers. Despite falling out of favor for a time, the Clover Leaf, like many classic cocktails, has experienced a resurgence in recent years, appreciated for its timeless appeal and refreshing character.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Coupe Glass, though any glass works!
