About Cosmopolitan 1934

The Cosmopolitan 1934 is a classic cocktail that exudes elegance and sophistication. This refined concoction blends the crispness of gin with the vibrant sweetness of orange liqueur, the tartness of lemon juice, and the rich, fruity undertones of raspberry syrup. The result is a balanced drink that offers a refreshing yet complex flavor profile, making it a timeless choice for cocktail enthusiasts.

The history of the Cosmopolitan 1934 is somewhat shrouded in mystery, but it is believed to predate the more commonly known vodka-based Cosmopolitan that surged in popularity during the 1990s. The 1934 version harks back to an era when gin was the spirit of choice in many cocktails, and its inclusion of raspberry syrup suggests a nod to the fruit-forward drinks that were popular during the early 20th century. While it may not be as widely recognized as its modern counterpart, the Cosmopolitan 1934 remains a delightful testament to the enduring appeal of well-crafted, gin-based cocktails.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Coupe Glass, though any glass works!
