About Happy Face

The Happy Face cocktail is a vibrant and indulgent concoction that combines a medley of spirits and mixers to create a delightfully refreshing drink. With its base of gin and vodka, the cocktail gains a robust depth, while the addition of orange liqueur imparts a sweet, citrusy twist. The tonic water introduces a subtle effervescence, balancing the flavors and adding a crisp finish. Orange juice provides a fresh and tangy element, complementing the tropical notes of the piña colada mix. The unique ingredient of a whole egg adds a rich, creamy texture, creating a smooth and luscious mouthfeel. This exuberant blend of flavors and textures is perfect for those who enjoy a bold and fruity cocktail with a hint of creaminess.

The origins of the Happy Face cocktail are somewhat obscure, as it does not have the longstanding history of more classic cocktails. It likely emerged as part of the modern trend of creative mixology, where bartenders experiment with unconventional ingredients to craft unique and memorable drinks. The playful name "Happy Face" suggests a drink meant to evoke joy and relaxation, reflecting its vibrant taste and the cheerful experience it aims to deliver. Whether you're sipping it poolside or enjoying it at a lively gathering, the Happy Face cocktail is designed to bring a smile with every sip.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Hurricane Glass, though any glass works!
