About Hello, Sun

The "Hello, Sun" cocktail is a refreshing and invigorating drink that perfectly captures the essence of a sunny day. This cocktail combines the smoky and earthy flavors of mezcal with the crisp and cooling notes of fresh cucumber and mint. A splash of lime juice adds a zesty brightness, balancing the smoky mezcal and enhancing the refreshing qualities of the cucumber and mint. The result is a well-rounded cocktail that's both revitalizing and complex, offering a perfect blend of freshness with a touch of smokiness.

The history of the "Hello, Sun" cocktail is not extensively documented, but it draws on classic cocktail traditions that emphasize fresh, seasonal ingredients. The use of mezcal, a distilled alcoholic beverage made from any type of agave, highlights a growing trend in mixology to incorporate more diverse and robust spirits. This cocktail is likely a modern creation, designed for those who appreciate both the complexities of mezcal and the refreshing qualities of herbal and citrus elements. Its popularity can be attributed to the increasing global appreciation for mezcal and the ongoing trend of crafting cocktails that are both sophisticated and approachable.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Rocks or Old-Fashioned Glass, though any glass works!
