Instructions

Invented by Phil Williams in Pine Mountain, GA. We're big fans of Tequilla Cabrito Resposado. This drink is very popular at the parties we throw. Its so smooth it tends to sneak up on you before you know it. We have so many guests to our house that our friends named our house Hotel Sandra after my wife.Add all ingrediants into a cocktail shaker. Add ice. Shake extra well. Strain into large Margarita glass.

About Hotel Sandra

The Hotel Sandra cocktail is a vibrant and refreshing drink that combines the robust spirit of tequila with the sweet and tangy flavors of orange and cranberry. The base of 2 oz tequila provides a warm and earthy foundation, while the 1 oz orange liqueur adds a layer of citrusy sweetness. This sweetness is complemented by the fresh and fruity notes of 1 oz orange juice, which also adds a bit of tartness. The drink is rounded off with 1 oz cranberry juice, introducing a slightly sharp and tangy edge that balances the overall flavor profile. The combination of these ingredients creates a colorful and delightful beverage that is both invigorating and satisfying, perfect for sipping in a relaxed setting.

The origins of the Hotel Sandra cocktail are somewhat obscure, with no definitive history tracing back to its invention. However, it is reminiscent of classic tequila-based cocktails that highlight citrus flavors, much like the popular Tequila Sunrise or Margarita. The drink's name suggests a connection to a particular hotel or perhaps a nod to someone named Sandra, but such stories often remain a mystery in the world of mixology. Regardless of its origins, the Hotel Sandra stands out as a testament to the creativity and versatility of tequila cocktails, offering a refreshing escape with each sip.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Margarita Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
