About Jagernog

The Jagernog is a unique and festive cocktail that blends the bold, herbal flavors of Jägermeister with the creamy, rich texture of a traditional eggnog. This unconventional twist on holiday beverages combines 10 ounces of Jägermeister with the sweetness of sugar and the tartness of cranberry juice, complementing the earthy, spiced notes of the herbal liqueur. The addition of eggs and ice cream gives the drink a creamy, frothy texture, making it a decadent treat that’s perfect for holiday gatherings or cozy winter nights.

The origins of the Jagernog are not well-documented, but it likely emerged as a creative take on classic eggnog, which has a long history dating back to medieval Europe. Eggnog itself evolved over centuries from a mix of milk, eggs, and alcohol enjoyed by the British aristocracy. With the introduction of Jägermeister, a German digestif created in 1934, adventurous bartenders and cocktail enthusiasts began experimenting with this versatile spirit, leading to innovative concoctions like the Jagernog. Today, it stands as a testament to the evolving landscape of mixology, where traditional recipes are continually reimagined with modern twists.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Coffee Mug, though any glass works!
