About Maple Lake Irish Shock

The Maple Lake Irish Shock is a vibrant and spicy cocktail that brings together a fusion of bold flavors, perfect for a cozy evening or a festive gathering. This drink combines the intense cinnamon heat of Aftershock and Hot 100 Schnapps with the crisp and refreshing taste of apple cider. The addition of Sour Apple Pucker adds a tangy twist, enhancing the apple flavor profile while balancing the warmth of the cinnamon elements. A cinnamon stick not only serves as a garnish but also infuses the drink with a subtle, aromatic spice, making each sip a delightful experience.

While the exact origin of the Maple Lake Irish Shock is not well-documented, it reflects a modern trend of combining classic spirits with innovative twists, drawing inspiration from both traditional Irish apple-based drinks and contemporary American cinnamon-infused concoctions. The cocktail's name suggests a nod to the picturesque Maple Lake areas found in various regions and the daring 'shock' of its bold cinnamon flavors. This drink embodies the spirit of experimentation, bringing warmth and vibrancy to any occasion.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Cordial or Sherry Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
