Alcoholic Cocktail Collins Glass 4 ingredients

Recipe

  • 1 oz Vodka (Vanilla)
  • 1 oz Midori Melon Liqueur
  • 1/2 oz Black Raspberry Schnapps
  • Cranberry Juice

Instructions

I made this drink for another bartender who gave me the freedom to make him "something good". All he asked was that it taste strong and include Midori, so this is what I came up with. The "Tea" part of the name came from its reddish brown color when served over ice. The taste is similar to a flavored Iced Tea as well. I used this site to see if someone had already created a name for this drink, and didn't find one, so here it is!Shake all ingredients breifly with ice and strain into a glass 3/4 full of ice. Garnish with Lemon and serve in a collins glass.

About Vals Vicious Tea

The Vals Vicious Tea is a vibrant and flavorful cocktail that combines a variety of intriguing ingredients to create a unique drinking experience. The base of this cocktail is vanilla vodka, which adds a smooth and creamy undertone. The Midori Melon Liqueur brings a bright and refreshing melon flavor, while the black raspberry schnapps adds a rich berry depth. Cranberry juice ties the drink together with its tartness and vibrant color, resulting in a cocktail that is both visually appealing and delightfully balanced in taste.

The origins of the Vals Vicious Tea are not widely documented, making it somewhat of a mystery in the cocktail world. However, its combination of ingredients suggests a modern twist on classic fruit-forward cocktails, likely emerging in the late 20th or early 21st century when flavored vodkas and fruit liqueurs gained popularity. This cocktail is perfect for those seeking a sweet and fruity drink with a hint of complexity, making it a popular choice at parties and social gatherings where adventurous flavors are appreciated.

This cocktail is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Collins Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
