Alcoholic Shot Shot Glass 3 ingredients

Recipe

  • 1.5 oz Tequila
  • 1/6 Lime
  • salt

Instructions

This is a popular drink with the skate/snowboard crowd at the bar where I work. They normally start on these after they've had a few other drinks to warm up, but I wouldn't recommend drinking them all night. Its important to drink the shot quickly after you light it because otherwise the glass can heat up and burn you. This shot is set up the same as a standard Tequila shooter. Sprinkle the salt on the hand you'll hold the Lime with. In the other hand, the book of matches. Using one hand only strike a match and light your Tequila shot on fire. IMMEDIATELY afterward snort the salt, shoot the flaming shot, then squeeze the Lime in your eye.

About Drunken Stuntman

The Drunken Stuntman is a bold and invigorating shot that celebrates the robust flavors of tequila, complemented by the tangy zest of lime and a hint of salt. This concoction is a thrilling twist on the classic tequila shot, designed for those who enjoy a bit of flair with their drinks. With 1.5 ounces of tequila as its base, the shot delivers a smooth yet potent kick, balanced by the fresh, citrusy burst from a sixth of a lime. The addition of salt enhances the overall taste experience, highlighting the earthy and spicy notes of the tequila while tempering the sourness of the lime.

The origins of the Drunken Stuntman are somewhat shrouded in mystery, much like many cocktail recipes that have emerged from the creative minds of mixologists and bartenders over the years. It likely draws inspiration from the traditional way of consuming tequila with lime and salt, which is deeply rooted in Mexican drinking customs. This method has been popularized globally as a fun and interactive way to enjoy tequila, often associated with celebrations and lively social gatherings. The Drunken Stuntman takes this experience up a notch, offering an adventurous twist that embodies the daring spirit of its namesake.

This shot is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Shot Glass, though any glass works!
