About Long Beach Iced Tea

The Long Beach Iced Tea is a vibrant and refreshing punch or party drink that offers a distinctive twist on the classic Long Island Iced Tea. It is a potent concoction, featuring an equal mix of vodka, light rum, gin, tequila, and triple sec, all brought together with a splash of cranberry juice. This harmonious blend is served over a few cubes of ice and garnished with a wedge of lemon, which adds a zesty citrus aroma and a touch of tanginess that complements the drink's robust flavor profile.

The Long Beach Iced Tea is believed to have originated as an alternative to the Long Island Iced Tea, with the key difference being the substitution of cranberry juice for the cola found in its predecessor. This change not only gives the drink its signature reddish hue but also imparts a slightly tart and fruity flavor, making it a favorite among those who enjoy a lighter, fruitier cocktail. While the exact origins of the Long Beach Iced Tea are somewhat unclear, it has gained popularity as a refreshing summer beverage that pairs well with a variety of social occasions, from casual gatherings to lively parties.

This punch or party drink is alcoholic, so drink responsibly! Best served in a Any Glass, though any glass works!

Feel free to get creative with substitutions — try different fruit types, sugar substitutes, or liquor brands. Crafting cocktails should be fun!
