Edison Circle
Contains Alcohol:  Yes
Style: Cocktail
Glass Type: Any Glass
Ingredients: 6

Recipe:
2 oz. Gin (Blue Empress Gin Recommended)
0.5 oz. St. Germain or any other Elderflower Liqueur
0.5 oz. Lemon Juice
0.5 oz. Hibiscus Syrup Float
1 part Tonic Water (Elderflower Recommended)
Ice

Instructions

We recommend a larger glass for this one. A large tulip glass works, as do mason jars. This one is yummy. Fill the tulip glass half full with ice. Begin to build drink but adding the Gin, followed by St. Germain and Lemon Juice. Mostly fill rest of the glass with elderflower Tonic Water, leaving a small gap at the top of the glass. Finish off by adding a hibiscus Syrup float. Serve with or without a straw. If available, garnish top of glass with 4-5 hibiscus leaves. If made using Empress Gin and in the correct order, the drink will change colors as it is made.

Edison Circle - Summary

What can we say, this one is simply delicious. Try it using the blue Empress gin to get the full effects, but it's tasty either way. This one is perfect for a hot summer day as it's insanely refreshing and crisp. However, we recommend sipping this one year-round. If it's too sweet for you, we simply recommend toning down the Elderflower liqueur or entirely eliminating the hibiscus syrup, although you'll miss out on the vibrant color changes it undergoes while crafting it.

This drink style is classified as a Cocktail and is Alcoholic, so drink responsibly! The recommended glass type for this drink is Any Glass. We say, feel free to serve it in whatever you have available; it will still taste the same :)

You may also use different variations of the same ingredient. For example, you could change up fruit types or sugar substitutes. Other substitutions would include different brands of liquor. For example, if your drink calls for a specific type of whiskey, you could try using bourbon instead of Irish.

Crafting cocktails should be fun, so get creative and make it your own. Who knows, you might find your next favorite!
